Tilbury: Pride in Place Funding

I’ve secured £20 million for Tilbury through the Government’s Pride in Place programme, providing £2 million each year for the next decade. This long‑term investment will support real, lasting improvements for local residents.

I’m determined for my constituents to be at the heart of deciding how this money is used. I want to know how you think it should be spent, so please have your say by filling out my survey.

Bring back the Tilbury ferry

The closure of the Tilbury to Gravesend ferry last year was a huge loss for our area.

Having existed in some form for hundreds of years, the ferry was a small but crucial part of local public transport infrastructure, providing a vital link between Thurrock and Gravesham.

As your MP, I'm determined to bring this service back for our community.
