Restore Pride in Dilkes Park

Many local residents have contacted me to raise concerns about the condition of Dilkes Park, particularly regarding its maintenance, security, and lack of amenities. In April, the Council announced that improvements to the park, including new play equipment and enhanced accessibility, were being prioritised. However, there has been little communication since then regarding the progress of these plans.

At the same time, residents continue to report persistent issues with littering and fly-tipping, alongside a concerning increase in anti-social behaviour. These ongoing concerns are having a significant impact on the local community and are undermining the park’s value as a public space.

Please sign my petition and help me call on the Council to invest more in the maintenance and security of Dilkes Park, and to ensure that the promised improvements are delivered as soon as possible.
