As your MP
I pledged to stand up for Thurrock and represent you in Parliament
I’ve been working to ensure our area is at the heart of the Government’s plan to renew our nation: raising your issues on the floor of the House of Commons, questioning ministers about their plans for Thurrock, and scrutinising laws that affect our community.
I do not shy away from speaking up for our area and have been pushing for improvements on the key challenges we face, such as healthcare, public transport, and the cost of living.
I’ve also been campaigning for change in areas where families and communities are being let down. As the mother of a disabled daughter, I take the fight of SEND parents to Parliament, working to ensure that the system provides the support that people need.
I also chair cross-party groups of MPs focusing on learning disability and British Sign Language, putting these issues on the agenda in Parliament.
