Each month, I host an informal coffee afternoon in a different part of Thurrock. These events are a great way for us to have a conversation about the issues that matter to you.
I focus the meetings on an issue of concern for residents, inviting local organisations to attend and offer guidance. It’s an opportunity to hear directly from residents about the issues they’re encountering, discuss what can be done about it, and see how I can take these away to create change.
I want to hear from you and answer your questions. The dates for my upcoming coffee afternoons are listed below.
| June 2025 | Stifford Clays | Crime and local policing |
| July 2025 | Tilbury | Accessing local dentists |
I send personal invitations as physical letters to people who live close to the venues. I will be hosting these across Thurrock, to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend.
If you’d like to come to a coffee afternoon and have not received an invite or want to suggest a topic we could discuss in you area, please just drop me an email at jen.craft.mp@parliament.uk.
By coming together for these coffee afternoons, we can get work together to make our communities stronger, more connected, and better for everyone.
